We would like to take the opportunity to recognize the contributions of individuals, both within our graduating class and the extended community, that have supported our efforts.

The graduating class, in partnership with the professional community, have harnessed a broad range of skills to pull together the diverse aspects of this project: including the creation of a pictographic font, the development of this web micro-site for our graduates, the production of a grad book and the creation of products for a pop-up retail store that demonstrates the versatility of the visual language we have developed. We would like to thank these individuals for their time, effort, passion and generosity to our graduating class.

Within the Sheridan community we thank Craig Arndt, Yien-Wyn Yip, Logan Cipparone, Dani Crosby, Greg Dubeau, Bryce Huffman, Jesse Koreck, Tony Linka, Nimit Malavia (council), Dave Dryburgh, Rachelle LaRocque, Stephen McPhee, Annie Y. Kim, William Bowes, Tyler Doupe (design), and Rachelle Letain (funding).

The professional community, including Sheridan alumni, collaborated with us to help make this project possible: Benjamin Rivers and Hyein Lee (web), Rosemary Travale and Gabe Wong (book).

THE BAA, ILLUSTRATION PROGRAM
Sheridan is home to Canada's largest art school, the School of Animation, Arts and Design. Its 28 programs have more than 4,300 students and includes Canada's only Bachelor's degree program dedicated to illustration. The Sheridan community itself includes 15,000 full time students, 35,000 part time and 107,000 alumni.

The Illustration program at Sheridan has an incredible history with 40 years of award-winning graduates, including Brenda Clark (creator of Franklin the Turtle), and Graham Roumieu (creator of the Autobiography of Bigfoot and his latest book 101 Ways to Kill your Boss). The Bachelor program builds upon this reputation with a 4-year Degree that is already winning awards across North America.

Sheridan is proud to be the destination of choice for many of the best and brightest students from across Canada and internationally who seek to become the next generation of illustrators. The BAA, Illustration program is known for the calibre of its students. Their success rate is very high as our graduates are independent, innovative entrepreneurs who practice in a diverse range of areas, from editorial publishing and information design to innovative creative communications. We set ourselves apart by giving students a thorough grounding in the illustration discipline and creative freedom to become leaders in their field.

The BAA, Illustration program boasts award winning faculty and alumni, strategic industry partners, and a profile that reaches across North America, Europe and Asia.
